What is ElectronicScout24?

ElectronicScout24, another branch-specific Scout marketplace, is a sales platform for entertainment electronics, telecommunication, computers and domestic appliances. ElectronicScout24 centrally transacts the purchase and payments on behalf of the purchasers and sellers. By tools and strong, computerised security precautions sellers and purchasers are eminently being protected.

Task & challenge

Within very short order Atrada AG designed and developed a digital market place for high scale usage of merchants and consumers. Since the successful launch in November 2005 Atrada AG has been accomplishing the technical operation and evolves the market place in rapid succession. The challenge of this project consisted in the depiction of that innovative business model and the large scale integration of different data streams as well as security related functions.

For instance, there have been integrated different catalogue systems with several hundreds of thousands of articles that can be updated regularly. Several offered modes of payment and the centralised transaction of payment via the market place involved the connection of different payment systems as well as their deep integration into the system.
